Change "movement to create a sovereign Jewish state in the region of Palestine—a region partly coinciding with the biblical Land of Israel—was flawed or unjust in some way.[2]" to "movement to create a sovereign Jewish state in the region of Palestine—a region coinciding with part of the biblical Land of Israel—was flawed or unjust in some way.[2]"
The way it is currently phrased is denying Jewish history and inaccurately explains the historical maps. Israel's territory is only part of the biblical land, which included much of modern Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. 96.57.87.242 (talk) 18:27, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Other editors will handle this, but for interest, I don't see a difference between 'a region partly coinciding with' and 'a region coinciding with part of'. They seem to be the same spatial relationship, an overlap between 2 spatial objects, although I think you version is clearer. Sean.hoyland (talk) 18:43, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: this is neither an uncontroversial improvement nor one that has consensus. Please see WP:EDITXY for more information of what an uncontroversial improvement is. M.Bitton (talk) 12:34, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. At the moment this is in the "Allegations of antisemitism" section, whereas really it should just be listed alongside other variants in the main body. It seems fairly well sourced at the moment, and I feel it doesn't get due weight. If I ever find time I can work on it, but thought I'd flag it in case others are inclined to (or disagree). Cheers! There's gonna be more than enough on it in the literature. But despite what my current/recent editing pattern shows, I should be getting my head down for other commitments in the coming months. Whenever I'm bored and/or hiding from those commitments, I'll likely swing back and start chipping away. -- Cdjp1 (talk) 18:24, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The following sentence has no citation. Also, if it is to be kept in the article, should the second “some” be “most” or “nearly all”? Objectively, it would be difficult to find a Zionist who thinks any antisemites are not anti-Zionists. Which antisemites are Zionists?
